Effectiveness monitoring

In some cases, the effectiveness of the treatment should be monitored. On this page, you will find the control tests to be performed according to the infections treated.

Long-term follow-up

However, in patients who continue to have unprotected oral, anal or vaginal sex in non-exclusively monogamous relationships, regular longer-term follow-up including screening tests and a reminder of prevention advice should also be provided.
